Come join First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, as it celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community on Sunday, June 11. This year's theme is Love is Love. The celebration includes:
More Light Sunday Adult Forum - join in person at the church at 9:45 AM in Martin Hall or by Zoom. John Baker of Johnson City’s Pride Center will moderate a panel on Tennessee’s recently passed anti-LGBTQIA+/anti-Trans laws.
More Light Worship Service - join in person in FPCe's Sanctuary at 11:00 AM or on our YouTube channel. The service is conducted by LGBTQIA+ community members and their allies.
Reception - noon to 1 PM in Tom Dixon Hall.
What Is More Light?
More Light Presbyterians is a non-profit organization dedicated to allowing the full participation of LGBTQIA+ people in the life, ministry, and witness of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and in society. Its goal is ensure that all members of the LGBTAQIA+ community feel welcome and loved.
